Krillion Game Guide: How to Play the Daily Dive
Krillion is an open-answer daily trivia game with a twist:finding a valid answer is only half the challenge. A less expected accepted answer can take your dive deeper. Here is how the seven-prompt Daily Dive works, how rarity is judged, and where to find the real game.
This is an independent, spoiler-free guide. QuestHub is not affiliated with Krillion and does not host its game, answers or player accounts.
01 · Getting started
How do you play Krillion?
The Daily Dive is not a multiple-choice quiz and does not ask everyone to identify one secret word. Each prompt describes a category with several possible valid answers. You choose one before the timer runs out. The game rewards accepted answers according to rarity.
Open the real Krillion game
Go to krillion.io and select the Daily Dive. The game runs on the developer’s website, not inside QuestHub. Check the address before signing in or making a purchase.
Read the entire prompt
A dive has seven short, open-ended category prompts. Look for qualifiers: “a capital city” and “a city” are not interchangeable. There is no multiple-choice list to narrow your response.
Choose one valid but less obvious answer
The prompts are timed, so do not spend the whole clock chasing a spectacularly obscure answer. Aim for something specific that you are confident fits the wording, then submit it.
Read your result before continuing
The game checks its curated answer set, awards a rarity-based result for an accepted answer and moves your dive deeper. Review what the prompt actually accepted before the next round.
Complete all seven prompts
Your dive combines the results of the seven prompts. The shared Daily Dive is a daily challenge; official Unlimited, Archive and themed packs are separate ways to keep playing.
02 · What makes an answer good?
Krillion scoring: accuracy, rarity and depth
An answer must first appear in the accepted set for that prompt. An accepted answer receives a rarity result; less expected choices can award more points, which the game expresses as a deeper dive. Simply choosing the strangest word you know is not enough.
The creator’s official FAQsays answer sets are built by combining and cleaning sources such as dictionaries and encyclopedias. Depending on the question, rarity can use familiarity data, assisted judgement and manual review. The featured “One in a Krillion” answer can also be chosen for how satisfying it is, not only for raw obscurity.
What if a correct answer is rejected?
Check the prompt’s exact wording and any spelling or alias that might have affected the match. The developer also acknowledges that an answer may be missing from the curated set. Treat a rejected response as a game result, not a definitive statement about the real-world fact.
03 · Practical strategy
Four ways to improve your Krillion answers
Correct first, rare second
An unusual answer outside the category is still a miss. Start with two or three clearly valid candidates, then choose the least obvious one you can defend.
Read small words carefully
“From”, “before”, “in” and “that begins with” can decide whether an answer qualifies. A clever near-match can be worse than a straightforward correct response.
Use specificity when the category allows it
For a broad place or animal category, a precise valid name may be less expected than the first famous example. Do not add detail that changes the kind of answer requested.
Learn from rejected answers
A rejection does not always prove that an answer is factually wrong. The creator acknowledges that some legitimate answers may be absent from the curated set. Keep that distinction in mind.
A useful exercise after each dive is to remember which kinds of qualifiers slowed you down, then practise those subjects elsewhere. You can try open-text knowledge quizzes or daily geography puzzles in our games like Krillion comparison. Those games have their own rules and do not reproduce Krillion’s scoring.

Search results often mix the original game with unofficial clones. The links below all lead to paths on krillion.io. Third-party “Unlimited” games may have different timers, scoring, lives or question sets, so do not assume their mechanics apply to the official version.

Krillion FAQ
Where is the official Krillion game?
The original game is at krillion.io. QuestHub publishes an independent guide and links to that address; we do not host, mirror or embed Krillion.
What does “One in a Krillion” mean?
It is the game’s special high-end answer label. The developer explains that its featured “Krillion” choice involves fun factor as well as rarity, so it is not simply the least popular answer in a worldwide vote.
Are the rarest answers based only on other players?
No. The creator says answer sets are assembled from reference datasets and rarity is determined through a mix of familiarity data, assisted judgement and manual review, depending on the prompt.
Why did Krillion reject my answer?
It might not meet the prompt’s exact constraint, or it might be missing from the curated accepted-answer set. The official FAQ acknowledges occasional omissions and surprising autocorrect matches.
Is there an official Krillion Unlimited or Archive?
Yes. Both have entries in the menu at krillion.io. Their availability and purchase or unlock conditions are controlled by the developer, not by QuestHub.
Does this page have today’s Krillion answers?
No. This is a spoiler-free rules and strategy guide, not a daily answer feed. It does not publish or claim to verify today’s seven solutions.
