How to play PROXX

  1. Click or tap a hidden tile in Clear mode to reveal it. Switch to Flag mode to mark suspected black holes; on desktop, right-click also performs the alternate action.
  2. Use the arrow keys to move keyboard focus across the grid, Enter to act on the focused tile, and F to switch between Clear and Flag modes.

Reveal every safe tile without opening a black hole. Use numbered clues and flags to identify danger, then finish as quickly as you can. The result screen records completion time and the best time for that board configuration. Starting again creates a fresh board.

About PROXX

Quick tips

01

First move

Open a tile near the middle of the board. PROXX keeps your first tile and its surrounding 3×3 area free of black holes, usually exposing useful clues immediately.

02

Practical tip

Treat each clue as a local constraint: when all of its possible black-hole positions are known, flag them; when all required black holes are flagged, clear the remaining neighbors.
